Due to current substance use disorder concerns and federal/state regulations, Frontier's prescribing of opiates and benzodiazepines is limited to acute situations only, evaluated case-by-case. As we are not a pain management clinic or psychiatric specialty practice, prescribing these medications is rare and at the provider's sole discretion.
